What Problem are we trying to solve and why?



As a Champion (coach, mentor, leader) I want to invite a new client onto the platform in a simple way directly from console so that they join the platform and are in an immediate growth relationship with me. There is currently no mechanism for Agents to directly invite Growees (new users) outside the platform.

As a Growee I want a clear understanding of what I am being on-boarded to, consistent with the real person that is inviting me and the value it is going to provide for me. Market feedback suggests that users have trouble orienting themselves once boarded into the platform.






Assumptions and Constraints



Agents only have access to Console, not all of Admin.

Agent will already have Growee email address and name.

Accepting the email is tacit acceptance of the relationship.

The Agent will not have access to Advanced invites..

The Growee will receive the default Org configuration

For this project we will not be iterating on sign-up flow.

FLCs should be notified when a Growee accepts an invitation.



Project Hypothesis



By allowing the Champion to invite their people directly from off platform, we believe the growee will have a higher % of onboarding. By allowing the FLC to invite off-platform people directly, we believe the Growee will complete a first growth action a greater % of time than if the growee is onboarding directly from an organization. ​



Success Metrics



% of invitees that complete onboarding into the platform increases due to the focus on the relationship right away in the invite.% of users that take a Growth actions post onboarding increases with immediately being onboarded from their FLC

Usability Labs



We tested the prototype with 12 users making rapid iterations after every 3 users to ensure that we were getting the best results possible. Some of the tasks included were:

2.Go through the onboarding screens but stop before getting started using the app. 3.Describe to me your current understanding of how this app might help you.


4.Look over this screen for a moment. Take the first action you think is appropriate.


Catherine has sent you a note. Use the system to find out what she has to say and respond back to her.
